The IKA RCT Basic B S1 is a hot plate stirrer that can be used in chemical labs. It can stir up to 20 liters of water and reach temperatures of up to 310°C. The hot plate has a glass housing surface and an aluminum alloy plate for optimal heat transfer.
The IKA RCT Basic B S1 has a digital screen, but some users have reported that part of the numbers or words are missing.
Hot plates are used in laboratories for many purposes, including:
- Chemical reactions
- Heating samples
- Oil or sand baths
Hot plates are flat surfaces with heating elements. They do not produce open flames.
